LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington officials have activated the Emergency Summer Weather Plan.
Since this has been activated, more Cooling Centers will be opening in Lexington.
Lexington Parks and Recreation will offer half-price pool admission.
LexTran will offer free rides to shelters and Cooling Centers.
The Hope Center and HopeMobile will also be offering free water, sunscreen and other supplies.
