There's more rain on the way this week and comes in two distinct rounds. A slow-moving front will sink into eastern Kentucky and eventually stall out. This set up will feeding waves of rain into our area. ROUND #1: Showers arrive after midnight and stick around through most Monday. We'll get a chance to dry out on Tuesday.
ROUND #2: Periods of moderate to heavy rain, even a few storms Wednesday and Wednesday night. The heaviest rain will fall across southern Kentucky. The ground there will already be saturated and the additional heavy rain will likely lead to flooding issues. One to three inches of rain are expected over the course of this week, with most of that rain falling during the second round mid-week.
