CORBIN, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Corbin man won 1 million dollars after playing in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing.

George Cerveny says he went to bed a millionaire and didn't even know it.

According to lottery officials, the ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Gordan Hill Pike in Corbin.

Cerveny says he's played the same numbers for years and finally got a call that he had won big. He told lottery officials that the manager from Circle K was trying to get ahold of him to let him know of his win.

He matched the five white numbers for the 1 million dollar prize.

Cerveny says he has bought tickets from the same Circle K for about ten years but has only ever won a few dollars.

He and his wife, Jennifer, received a check after taxes for $715,000.

Circle K will get $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The next drawing will be on Friday night.
