LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person is dead after a one-car crash on Russell Cave Road.
The crash happened near the intersection of Iron Works Pike and Russell Cave Road just before 1 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said an inbound vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver of the car was killed in the crash.
The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim as Talon Lee Jones, 33, of Lexington.
His cause of death was blunt force trauma and was declared an accident.
Police kept the roadway closed for over an hour while they investigated the crash.
