MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Ten chihuahuas that were found among dozens of others in a home in October are now up for adoption at the McCracken County Humane Society.
Applications will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
More than a dozen other dogs have been adopted since reportedly being found in "deplorable conditions."
There were 40 malnourished chihuahuas were found and others had already died.
Harold Campbell and his daughter, Jennifer, have been charged with 43 counts of second degree animal cruelty.
