2 men charged with murder after crashing UTVs

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two men have been charged with murder after crashing their UTVs on Sunday morning.

The collision happened around 1 a.m. on Gravel Road near Centertown in Ohio County.

Troopers said 25-year-old Zachary Barker and 51-year-old James Rone were driving UTVs when they crashed.

That sent James UTVs rolling over and threw his three passengers out.

39-year-old Ashley carver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another woman and a 10-year-old girl were airlifted with life-threatening injuries.

Both Baker and Rone were charged with murder, assault, wanton endangerment and DUI.
