HAZARD, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Avawam Fire Department and Rescue Squad reports that two people were taken to the hospital after an overnight structure fire on Thursday in Perry County.
According to officials, the structure and garage were a total loss, and the Red Cross has been notified.
Officials say the two residents were taken to Hazard ARH for smoke inhalation.
