Emergency Management Director: Storm Damage Reported In Grant Co.

GRANT COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) The Grant County Emergency Management Director said that storm damage has been reported in Grant County.

Grant County Emergency Management Director Les Whalen said that a strong storm moved through Williamstown, leaving one trailer blown off of its foundation and large trees down on Main Street.

He said that trees are reportedly on homes in the downtown area. 

The hospital and the jail are using a generator because three utility poles snapped on Barnes Road, according to Emergency Management. U.S. 25 will be shut down for about an hour.
