LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman is in jail accused of overdosing in a car with her children inside.
An arrest citation states 26-year-old Liliana Cruz was arrested Tuesday afternoon after allegedly using heroin in the car while her three young children were present.
Police say Cruz overdosed, requiring medical treatment.
The citation states her actions created a "substantial risk of causing injury to her children."
Cruz was charged with three counts of second-degree wanton endangerment.
