LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington hospital said Wednesday morning it has lifted a lockdown triggered earlier by a threatening phone call.
Police say someone called Saint Joseph East around 5:40 a.m. threatening to harm everyone there. The hospital followed protocol and went on lockdown.
Lexington police responded to the scene and investigated but have not reported any other action.
A hospital spokesperson said later Wednesday morning that the lockdown had been lifted.
