LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police say the man accused of robbing multiple gas stations is in custody.
Shane Alexander Kennedy, 30, was arrested near the Bluegrass Community and Technical College campus on Opportunity Way.
Police say two robberies at Shell gas stations on Friday, one off Nicholasville Road and the other off Thunderstick Road, have been linked back to Kennedy.
Kennedy was previously arrested by Lexington Police on March 7 for burglary and auto theft. After being released on bond, investigators believe it’s possible Kennedy is connected to more than a half-dozen other incidents.
