LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Lexington Police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection to the shooting death of another teen.
Police say a 17-year-old male is charged with murder after 19-year-old Devon Guest of Lexington was found dead Friday night.
Police say just before 8:00p.m. they were called to the 500-block of Michigan Street for reports of a shooting. Reportedly they found Guest lying in the street.
Their investigation revealed that Guest had arranged to meet the suspect and another teen and a brief altercation took place before the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call police.
Meanwhile, friends and family of Guest held a vigil Saturday night in his honor.
They say he left behind a young son, and that he will be dearly missed.
