DANVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Danville Police say one vehicle was stolen and several were burglarized in the same area.
Police said Saturday that the thefts from parked vehicles occurred overnight along Jean Drive, Perkins Avenue and Logan Avenue.
Authorities also say a 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara with the Kentucky plate 552 XEM was taken from a driveway in the same area.
Police said later Sunday that the stolen vehicle had been recovered through help from the community.
Police say residents should remember to lock their vehicles at night and ask that anyone with information about the thefts call officials.
