BELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police said that on Sunday, a woman was pulled over by two unmarked vehicles in less than a mile. It has now been determined that one of the people who pulled her over was Constable Jeffrey Bowling.

On Sunday, she has been traveling on U.S. 25 East when an unmarked green SUV pulled her over. She said that a man wearing a red Carhartt jacket with a badge around his neck approached the vehicle and stated that she was speeding but never asked for any paperwork. KSP said that the man advised her to slow down and let her go.

Less than a mile later, she was stopped by a navy blue SUV. A man approached the vehicle and asked for her license. This man wasn’t wearing a badge anywhere visible. KSP said that he began screaming at her and hitting her window. The victim stated that she was calling State Police and the man ran back to his vehicle and left.

On Monday, KSP said that Constable Jeffrey Bowling told them he made a traffic stop on the alleged victim. KSP did not specify which traffic stop he performed, nor if they were looking for a different person.

The investigation continues. If anyone has information about the case, you are urged to contact Post 10 at 606-573-3131.
