JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The man convicted in the 2008 death of a Nicholasville man was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison.

David Peel originally was charged with murder in the case but was convicted of manslaughter in the killing of Mark Dunn.

Authorities say Peel shot Dunn, whose body later was found in his burned out truck.

Another man, Odis Henson, previously pleaded guilty to his role in Dunn’s death. Henson pleaded guilty to arson and evidence tampering and was sentenced to 10 years.
