LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A woman is behind bars after she allegedly set fire to her home with her children inside.
Police say Whitney Johnson set a fire in the kitchen of her single family home.
WAVE 3 News is reporting that Johnson’s three children were apparently upstairs when she set the fire.
Authorities say Johnson’s acts created a risk of death or serious physical injury to the children.
Johnson reportedly admitted setting the fire to police.
She is charged with arson and wanton endangerment.
