CLAY COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) The Clay County Sheriff said that a woman was shot Monday in Manchester.
Sheriff Angela Johnson said she got the call around 12:30 p.m. in regards to a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The sheriff said that the woman had one gunshot wound and was taken to Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was then transferred to UK Medical Center.
We have no word on her condition. Deputies said that they are questioning a person of interest.
