LIBERTY, Ky (LEX 18) – The search continues for a missing Casey County man.
60-year-old Danny Hatter has been missing for five weeks. He was last seen March 2, 2018, at his home on Old Dry Ridge Hall Road. His family said that he has serious medical issues.
His truck was found in Jamestown near Scotts Chapel Road, but there are still no signs of him. One of the truck’s tires was found stuck in the mud. His family wonders if he may have gotten out to start walking and ended up lost.
"Your mind is constantly thinking of ‘where he could be?’ Is he in the woods? Did he take off walking and get turned around?" Ann Hatter, Danny Hatter’s sister-in-law told LEX 18. "We were really confused. We couldn’t figure out what he was doing down there to start with."
He’s about 150 pounds. He is bald and he wears glasses.
If you have any tips, call the Casey County Sheriff’s Office or call Missing Investigations and Security Services at (859) 324-0400. The family has hired an investigative team and they’re pleading for everyone in Russell County and the Scotts Chapel Road area to be on the lookout.
