BELL COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) Recently, LEX 18 reported that KSP was investigating after a woman was pulled over Sunday by two unmarked vehicles. Monday night, a similar experience happened to another woman.
Both women were traveling on U.S. 25 East in Bell County when they were pulled over. Tara Lankford told LEX 18 that it was around 9:30 p.m. Monday night when she was pulled over near Middlesboro by a man in a gold or brown Chevy. She said the vehicle had blue flashing lights.
Lankford said that she refused to roll down her window when the man would not verify he was a police officer by showing his badge. She said the man calmly walked away and drove off.
It is unclear if the same man who pulled over Lankford was one of the men that pulled over the unidentified woman from Sunday night.
