HARLAN COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) With the help of police in Charlotte, North Carolina, an arrest warrant has been served for a man who police say took a Kentucky juvenile from Loyall, Kentucky to his home in North Carolina. He is facing kidnapping charges.

16-year-old Caitlyn Bosley was last seen by her mother on March 26, 2018 at 4 p.m. The mother left the home to go to work and when she returned, Caitlyn was not home. The mother said she attempted to find the child on her own, but had no success. She contacted KSP in Harlan and reported her daughter missing.

On April 10, Caitlyn was located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her parents were notified. KSP said she was safe.

On April 11, KSP charged 41-year-old Jonathan Stewart of Charlotte, N.C. with kidnapping. Stewart and Caitlyn were located through cell phone records and social media data. With assistance from detectives in Charlotte, the missing teen was located unharmed. She was taken into protective custody and released to her family.

Stewart was served with an arrest warrant and extradition order to Kentucky. KSP is awaiting Stewart to be extradited to Kentucky to face charges. More criminal charges could be filed pending the investigation.
