FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – With teachers planning to protest while the legislature is in session, Frankfort Police are warning drivers that pedestrians could affect traffic.

Police are urging drivers to give themselves extra time if they are headed into downtown Frankfort. Capital Avenue will be open to traffic, but it might be best to avoid the Capitol building.

There will also be buses parking along Capital Avenue and in an overflow lot at Capital View Park.
