LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) A pit bull is expected to recover after police say a man attacked it with a machete because the dog wouldn’t get off his porch.
The dog will undergo surgery. The incident happened on Rand Avenue on Thursday.
The man was cited for hitting the dog with a machete. Investigators are looking to see if more charges can be filed.
Police said that the homeowner is cooperating.
