LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) The man accused of hitting and killing a Lexington realtor remains held on bond after making his first court appearance.
On Friday, the judge appointed 47-year-old Michael Ray King a public defender in Fayette District Court. King is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid after police say he hit 46-year-old Lexington realtor Stevonn "Stevie" Page with his SUV, killing her.
The Fayette County coroner said that Page was moving her trash cans after noon Thursday on Leestown Road near the Scott County line when she was hit. Police said King continued driving.
