ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) Two men charged in a deadly home invasion in Rockcastle County have been sentenced.

State Police said that Jonathan Taylor and Levi Bradley broke into 71-year-old Bennie Sanders’ home last January.

Bennie Sanders was a record-setting quarterback at Knoxville College in the late 1960’s. Friends say he was in plays, involved in church, and a stranger to no one.

Taylor was sentenced Friday to a total of 23 years for murder, complicity to commit robbery, and complicity to commit burglary. Bradley will spend 20 years in prison for complicity to commit murder, robbery, and burglary.
