JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) – A power outage near Brannon Crossing affected hundreds of people Saturday night in Nicholasville.
Reports of power outages started coming in around 8:30 Saturday night.
Jessamine County dispatch confirmed power was out in the area of Brannon Crossing and that multiple traffic lights in the area were out of service due to the outage. Officers responded to the area to help with a traffic. Dispatchers told LEX18 Kentucky Utilities was aware of the outage and they were working to repair it as quickly as possible.
According to the KU outage map around 1,700 customers were affected by the outage. They estimate power to be restored by midnight.
