BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) – A Knox County woman was taken into custody after authorities say an altercation ended in a stabbing.
Deputies responded to a fight in progress involving two females at a residence on KY 223 in Dewitt. One of the females had been stabbed and was transported from the scene.
Witnesses told investigators that Michelle Gray and the victim were involved in a fight and that Gray had brandished a knife and stabbed the woman in the arm.
Gray was arrested and charged with Assault-2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Michelle Gray was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
