CINCINNATI (WLWT) — One person was reported injured Sunday evening in an explosion near Ohio University.
WLWT reports here that emergency crews were called out about 5:15 p.m. to the 100 block of West Union Street in Athens, Ohio.
Authorities say one person was injured and taken to an area hospital. Police said all other residents of the apartment complex were safe.
The Athens Fire Department said the cause of the explosion is not known. State fire authorities are investigating the incident.
