JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) Some of the best golfers in the world are coming to Central Kentucky. the PGA Tour’s Barbasol Championship unveiled their corporate hospitality suites out at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville Tuesday.

The tournament will tee off in late July and will be the PGA’s first event in the Bluegrass in nearly 60 years. After a drought that lasted decades, Kentucky golf fans and organizers are ready to show off the green.

The Barbasol Championship also announced their "Birdies for the Bluegrass" charity initiative. It is a pledge program where individuals can pledge money for each birdie tallied through the course of tournament play. Donors can designate which charity their pledge will go towards.
