BOONE COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said that on Tuesday at 10 a.m., they were notified about a fatal motorcycle crash in the 3,900 block of Hathaway Road. Deputies said they are not sure when the crash actually happened.
The sheriff’s office said that someone living nearby saw the motorcycle down an embankment.
They said that the driver was dead when they found him. He had failed to negotiate a curve.
The motorcyclist was identified as 42-year-old Andrew Duell of Union. His father reported him missing Monday after not hearing from him. Deputies said it is difficult to speculate the exact date and time of his death.
