MADISON COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) On Wednesday, the Madison Central High School Marching Band was surprised with an invite to perform in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The surprise announcement happened in the auditorium at 5 p.m.

Macy’s Parade staff, as well as school officials and band directors David Jaggie and Jeremiah Fowler, gave the band the news that they were selected out of hundreds of nationwide applicants to be one of nine selected to march in the 93rd edition of the annual parade.
