MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – Attention Tom Ackerman and Bill Meck. A fed-up police department in Marion, Iowa decided they were done with the snowy forecasts.
The department posted a warning to weathermen on their Facebook page.
"Placing all meteorologists on notice! We will begin to work with our law enforcement partners @CR_Police & @LinnIASheriff in managing these court orders, see attached! @Joe_Winters – you may be next, sleep well!"
The target, KCRG Meteorologist Kaj O’Mara, was charged with "Theft of Spring." Officers didn’t stop there. They went to the studio and cuffed him on air.
