KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) Kentucky State Police are investigating after a body was found in Knox County.
Investigators confirm that the body was found down a hillside off Hinkle Branch Road in the Hinkle Community. The deceased was discovered under a pile of garbage by a Forestry Worker.
Residents tell LEX 18 that the area is a well-known dump site.
Police are not releasing a cause of death or a name at this time. Troopers do say that the body had not been there very long.
