LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) On Thursday, twin sisters gave birth to baby girls at Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Carli Morrison and her twin sister were just going in for routine pregnancy check-ups Thursday when they received some surprising news.
“We both had doctors appointments at the same time and then I was going to tell her that my fluid was low, my sister, and then she was like, "my fluids low", we both have to have our baby,” said Morrison.
Both of the mothers weren’t expecting their babies for weeks.
“They jinxed it though, they said you’re going to have your babies on the same day,” she said.
Just hours apart, the twins gave birth to daughters.
“They wasn’t supposed to be here on the same day, but I was excited,” said Morrison.
The twins said that their daughters will now grow up sharing a birthday, just like they do.
Morrison tells LEX 18 that this is her second and final child, she said all of this excitement is enough for her.
