5 Charged In Ongoing Wayne Co. Crackdown On Illegal Drugs

WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police say five people were facing charges as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug sales in Wayne County.

Henry C. and Maxine B. Rehe, of Monticello, were arrested Friday on sealed warrants, according to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron.

The office says the Rehes both face charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Ashley E. Baker, of Monticello, is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and failure to appear on numerous traffic violations.

Brandon L. Hammond, of Monticello, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a charge of theft by deception.

Tina M. Desantis, of Monticello, is facing charges driving under the influence and other traffic violations.

All the defendants were being held in the Wayne county Detention Center.
