LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center on Friday after a fire broke out at mobile home in Laurel County.
Emergency crews responded about 12:30 p.m. to a fire in the 400 block of Sepulvada Boulevard.
Firefighters from the Lily Fire & Rescue and West Knox Fire Rescue departments found a male victim unconscious and removed him from the structure.
Officials said the man was airlifted to UK Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Fire personnel were able to strike the fire.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
