LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A Lexington business is donating a portion of all proceeds Monday to help the Garrard County Animal Shelter, as they struggle with the start of puppy season.
Josie’s restaurant in the Chevy Chase area is giving 20% of all sales on Monday to help the shelter.
They will also be accepting donations, anything from food to towels and laundry detergent
The shelter is trying to raise money for new kennels, while also dealing with the influx of dogs typically seen during spring puppy season.
All donations are greatly appreciated.
