LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– Two people have been injured in a Louisville neighborhood during an officer-involved shooting.
Wave 3 News reports it happened a little after 4:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Police responded to the Buechel neighborhood on Bardstown Road where someone had been shot.
They say the incident escalated when two people got in a fight.
One of the suspects was armed and fled.
Shots were fired when police went after that suspect, who was then hit.
The suspect and one victim are in critical condition at UofL Hospital.
