LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) Lexington Police made a quick arrest after they say someone held up the Jimmy John’s store on Waller Avenue.
Officers said that an armed man robbed the store just after 5 p.m. Monday, A witness was able to get the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle and an officer stopped that vehicle at Red Mile Road and Versailles Road.
Police said the suspect, who was a passenger, got out of the car and ran off.
Officers caught up with him not too far away on Sparta Court. Both he and the driver of the car were arrested. Police told LEX 18 that they’ll face robbery and evidence tampering charges
