Golden Alert Issued For Man With Dementia

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police have issued a Golden Alert for an 80-year-old missing man who suffers from dementia.

On Monday, David B. Reed traveled to Lexington from Bracken County to visit a relative at a local hospital.

Reed was last seen at 3 p.m. at the hospital. He made phone contact with a family member at approximately 8:30 p.m. and stated he was near the Costco at Man-O-War and I-75. According to family members, Reed has been diagnosed with dementia and has been disoriented while driving in the past.

Reed is a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and approximately 200 pounds.  He was last seen driving a Blue 2005 PT Cruiser (KY License plate 641 VLC).
