SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — An emergency crew rescued a cow Wednesday afternoon after hikers discovered the animal stuck in North Elkhorn Creek.
A couple spotted the struggling cow while hiking and went looking for help, eventually flagging down a Stamping Ground police officer.
Scott County Fire Department officials responded to the scene and used a harness and a backhoe to pull the cow back to dry land.
