ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — An Estill County man is charged with murder in the shooting death of his brother, Kentucky State Police said Wednesday morning.
Police say 29-year-old Edward Daniel Tipton of Irvine is accused of fatally shooting his brother during a dispute Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened at a home along Pryse Road. The men lived in the home with their parents and two other siblings.
Neighbors told LEX 18 that they were stunned by Tuesday morning’s events, saying that the Tipton family has always kept to themselves.
Edward Tipton was being held in Three Forks Regional Detention Center.
