FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (EKB)– A Lexington man took police on a 20-mile chase from Magoffin to Floyd County, and it ended in a judge’s driveway.
According to EKB News, 27-year-old Dantae Thompson hit a Salyersville police officer with his car while fleeing a traffic checkpoint early Monday.
That began the chase down Route 114, which ended when Thompson turned and stopped at a Floyd County circuit judge’s driveway.
The officer was not seriously injured, despite being knocked to the ground.
Thompson faces multiple charges.
