LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A pharmacy was damaged Thursday morning in a hit and run accident.
It happened around 3:24 a.m. at the Rite Aid on Pimlico Parkway.
Police say they originally responded in reference to an alarm.
When they arrived on scene they found that a car had struck the building and the driver had fled the scene.
The fire department was called to the scene to check the structural integrity of the building, and found it to be sound.
Police are still searching for the driver.
