FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (EKB) – An individual is dead in a Floyd County Home after a shooting.
According to police, the individual was shot during an attempted break-in at a home in the Weeksbury community. The incident occurred around 8 a.m., roughly the same time as school was starting at a nearby elementary. The school was locked down.
The investigation is still active at this time.
