LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – A domestic incident caused a Lincoln County elementary school to go on lockdown.
According to school officials, a woman showed up to Waynesburg Elementary to pick up a child. Lincoln County sheriff’s officials are reporting that it was a domestic incident between two parents.
It was believed that the woman may have been intoxicated.
The school was placed on lockdown out of a precaution and the woman was taken into custody.
