LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A busy roadway was closed for hours after a man has died in a motorcycle accident near the Bullitt County line.
It happened Thursday night in the 11000 block of Bardstown Road.
Officials with LMPD say the motorcyclist was riding northbound on Bardstown Road when he hit the back of a car in front of him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Police say the motorcyclist did have a helmet on at the time of the crash.
