STATEN ISLAND, Ny. (NBC NEWS) – Police in New York are looking for the woman who smashed a window of a Popeye’s restaurant because a soda didn’t come with her meal.
The incident happened at a Staten Island Popeye’s around 8:30 at night on April 8th.
Security video shows a woman flipping off employees, then attacking the window with a sign.
She then takes a chair and uses it to smash one of the windows.
an employee said the woman was drunk and angry because the 4 dollar ‘wicked good’ deal didn’t come with a soda.
Employees tried to explain what comes in the deal and told her maybe she was thinking of the Wendy’s 4 for 4 deal instead, but the woman was so irate she couldn’t be reasoned with, according to a police report.
NYPD is asking for help identifying the woman, who is thought to be a black woman between 18 and 25-years-old – last seen wearing a pink bandana, a pink shirt, jeans and a black jacket.
