LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is holding another class today showing community members how to use the anti-opioid overdose drug Narcan.
Health officials will host the class from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the department headquarters, 650 Newtown Pike.
The class will teach community members the proper use of Narcan, which is being increasingly deployed to prevent deaths as opioid addiction continues to take a toll in the Bluegrass and nationwide.
