Lexington Post Offices To Host Event In Support Of Small Business Week

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington Post Office and the Lexington Postal Customer Council will participate in Small Business Week by hosting Open House seminars to demonstrate how the U.S. Postal Service continues to create easy and affordable services designed to help small businesses grow.

Customers may choose to attend the Direct Mail Marketing and Shipping Solutions Seminars on either May 3 or May 4, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. as part of the “Grow Your Business Day” Open House. There is no charge to attend.  Both sessions will be held at the Main Post Office, 1088 Nandino Blvd., Lexington, 40511.

Acting Lexington Postmaster Steve Hicks said, “No business is too small to benefit from postal products and services. We offer numerous solutions to assist with marketing efforts such as Every Door Direct Mail and new and exciting mailing innovations for advertising. In addition to continuing to provide shipping solutions such as Priority Mail that help small business ship economically and confidently,” Hicks added.

During Small Business Week, 3000 Post Offices around the country will host events where customers can learn about USPS small business offerings designed to grow and innovate your business in a one-on-one setting.

This year’s theme “Connect and Grow” is an ideal the USPS supports and encourages as we recognize the importance of supporting small businesses, the jobs they help create, and the culture they instill in local communities.

The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana.
