LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE3) — The Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville has stopped taking in dogs because of an outbreak of dog flu.

WAVE3 reports here that the agency said three cases have been confirmed at its Steedly Drive location.

The agency has quarantined the ill dogs and relocated the others.

Officials said they began vaccinating for dog flu last summer.

Off-site centers remain open for adoptions, agency officials said.
